LDH has approved this training for 12 operator credit hours in both water & wastewater. Course Approval #68816

October 22, 2025 – 8 operator credit hours
7:30 am – 8:00 am – Registration
8:00am – 8:30amIntroductions and Training Session Goals:  Patrick Credeur, LRWA Executive Director & LaWARN Chair, and Rusty Reeves, LRWA Deputy Director
8:30am – 9:30am – Water and Wastewater Cybersecurity Threats and Resources (US EPA and CISA):  EPA and CISA will cover the most common cyber threats facing drinking water and wastewater systems, as well as the free cybersecurity resources, services, tools, and technical assistance each agency provides to improve cyber defenses.
9:30am – 12:00pm – Cybersecurity Tabletop Exercise (US EPA and CISA):  This exercise walks utilities through a simulated cyber incident that impacts a utility’s operations. This interactive, discussion-based exercise allows utilities to test their cybersecurity incident response procedures and learn best practices in responding to, and recovering from, a cyber incident.
