This training involves knowledge of the very basics required of water and wastewater operations specialists. It is free to those who are currently enrolled in the LRWA/NRWA Apprenticeship Program. For all others, the fee for this training is $200 for both days or $125 for one day. Space is limited to 20 attendees total, including apprentices.

1:00pm-3:00pm — Water Meter Types and Application
3:00pm-5:00pm — Pipe Types, Terms, and Applications
January 22, 2026
8:00am-10:00am — Math – Units, Time, Volume Calculations
10:00am-12:00pm — Data Acquisition and Management
12:00pm-1:00pm — Lunch on your own
1:00pm-3:00pm — Basic Valve Types and Applications
3:00pm-5:00pm — Administrative Policies & Procedures
Instructors for this training will be Rusty Reeves, LRWA Deputy Director, unless otherwise noted.
Please note: LRWA Training Sessions are a “Fire Arm Free Zone”
A $15 cancellation fee will be applied to refunds requested by January 16th, no refunds will be granted thereafter.
