LRWA no longer provides calculators for certification classes. You will need to bring a simple non-programmable calculator to class for the math work.

Priority will be given to those taking the state exam.
CLASS Registration Information
LDH has approved the classes for 32 credit hours
Priority will be given to those taking the exam.
If you plan to attend for hours, you may be bumped out of the class to allow those taking the exam a seat. These classes are designed for those taken the state certification exam on Friday.

These training courses are provided for those interested in becoming certified or advancing certification levels in Water (Production, Treatment and Distribution) or Wastewater (Treatment and Collection). Courses have been approved by the Louisiana Department of Health.

You can only take one class (Water 1 & 2 or Wastewater 1 & 2) as they are held in different classrooms at the same time (Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm).  The certification class is REQUIRED to take the exam on Friday.

The instructor will provide a class manual/handout for review/studying during class.  Other study material/manuals may be brought to class as additional study aids.  If you wish to purchase the California Manuals you can purchase them directly through these links.

Students are responsible for their own meals.

Seating priority will be given to those taking exams!  Classroom size is limited; please complete the online registration (below tickets) or mail the registration form and payment early to reserve a seat. LRWA CAN NOT hold seats without payment.  Registration will close when the seating limit has been met. Don’t forget to make hotel reservations, if needed.

Certification Class Cancellation/Refund Policy

LRWA will charge a $75.00 processing fee for All Cancellations. Rather than cancel, consider sending a substitute or we can transfer you to another LRWA 2022 certification class.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations requested 1 week prior to class.

Please note: LRWA Training Sessions are a "Fire Arm Free Zone"

Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) states that pre-approval is REQUIRED for ALL certification exams, therefore pre-application must be submitted to their office at least 30 days or more prior to the exam date.  NO walk-ins allowed.  Exam Application can be completed through this link Operator Certification | La Dept. of Health

UPDATE:  Get your exam applications in early (do it now), a limited number of people are allowed in the room to take the exam.  Per LDH, seating for the exam will be on a first come first serve basis, depending on when the exam application is received.

NOTE:  The green blocks/links below are only to apply to take the exam through LDH you must also register (further down/tickets) with LRWA for class (exam and class are two different things ).  Just because you register for LRWA class it doesn’t automatically enable you to take the exam or applying for an exam doesn’t register you for LRWA class.
