24 Hour Cross Connection Control Surveyor – IAPMO’s website to register for this course and exam
Tuesday, 7/14/15; Wednesday, 7/15/15; Thursday, 7/16/15 (8am-5pm) You CANNOT register below for this class; it must be through IAPMO!
This course provides the necessary training and examination for individuals seeking certification as a Cross-Connection Control Surveyor. The course consists of twenty (24) hours of training and examination. During the training portion of the course, participants can expect to discuss the basics of cross-connection control surveying, as well as safety, cross-connection control, product performance, conducting a survey, and proper terminology. Federal, state, and local regulations and codes related to cross-connection control and backflow prevention will be presented. It is vital that individuals working in the plumbing, water, and cross-connection industry understand the proper selection and installation requirements of backflow prevention assemblies devices, and methods available for use in the systems they encounter every day. Backflow prevention protection is not a one size fits all situation and trained and certified personnel are necessary to ensure the proper protection is specified, installed and inspected to protect the public water system.
LRWA is not responsible for certification hours, this is your responsibility.
You must attend the Welcome Address, Awards Luncheon and Exhibit Hall viewing to receive full hours of credit.
Those that pre-register for a class by July 1st are eligible for chance to win one of five $1000 door prize drawings on Thursday 7/16/15
